MTWTFSS evening

For leaders and busy people around Ryomgård, in English

One evening a week that is yours

Most weeks are filled with other people's needs. This page explains how a steady weekly slot with the same psychologist can work, and that the sessions can be held in English.

This site describes weekly evening sessions with the psychologist Frank. The sessions are offered by djursland-psykologen.dk.

Join the waiting list The main site is in Danish.

Language and place

The sessions can be held in English, both online and in person in Mørke on Djursland. From Ryomgård it is a short drive, which suits an evening after work and gives some people a useful bridge between the working day and the conversation. Online is there as a supplement for weeks with travel or long days: you simply log in from somewhere you can speak without being interrupted.

Why a fixed rhythm

What weighs on many leaders rarely appeared in a week, and it seldom resolves in a single evening. That is why the sessions are built around a steady beat: the same weekday, the same time, the same psychologist. You do not have to decide each time whether you can spare the hour, and you do not have to start your story from the beginning.

Capacity is limited, so there is normally a waiting list and no start date can be promised. Signing up is non-binding, and you will be asked to say briefly what you are looking for.

What you can bring

You do not need a plan. Some people arrive with a decision they cannot share with colleagues, others with doubt, self-criticism or a sense of carrying too much alone. The conversations can help you understand what drives you and what costs you most, and they can make room for the things that do not fit into a meeting agenda.

Typical clients are managers and directors, founders and self-employed people, busy professionals, and international profiles who find it easier to talk about personal matters in English than in Danish.

Questions and answers

Do I need to bring a defined problem?

No. You can start with whatever is taking up most space right now, even if it is only a restlessness you cannot put into words. When you join the waiting list you are asked to say a little about what you are looking for.

Does my GP find out?

No. Your GP is not informed, and neither are the municipality, your partner or spouse, or your workplace. The sessions are private, need no referral, and are covered by the psychologist's duty of confidentiality under Danish law.

Can my employer pay?

Yes. Many people have the invoice paid by their company or workplace, and you can also pay yourself. See the practical page of the main site (in Danish) for the details.

When could I start?

That cannot be promised in advance. Capacity is limited, there is usually a waiting list, and no start date is guaranteed. Signing up carries no obligation.
